Deborah sams and Mary Lou Ryan founded bassike (pronounced “basic”) in 2006 to create what they couldn’t find: high quality, sustainably sourced wardrobe essentials. they chose to work with organic cotton, australian makers and responsible business practices from the beginning.

Everything is created with intention and produced with longevity in mind. Everything starts with beautiful, ethically sourced fabric. With a big love of natural fibres, Bassike are inspired by the way they look, feel and perform. But as well as sustainability, Bassike consider practicality and wearability in our design.
